Auction Terms and Conditions

Only DDT Store registered members are eligible to participate in the auction.

Opening bid for Wake Up Before It’s Too Late (Installation) is at HK$190,000. All bids should be made in HKD only.

Wake Up Before It’s Too Late (Installation) is a unique NFT artwork consisting of a wooden house, an original canvas painting, as well as an animation. The NFT is minted on the Solana blockchain.

A pre-authorised entry deposit of HK$15,000 (in fiat currency) / 50 SOL (in cryptocurrency) is required to enter the auction. Please notify your financial institution in advance to ensure sufficient credit is available, or ensure you have enough SOL in your digital wallet.

SOL is the official cryptocurrency for this auction, and DDT Store accepts cryptocurrency payment from FWEN, Phantom, or Sollet wallet only. Payment from digital wallets hosted at other exchanges or self-hosted wallets will not be accepted.

Only the top bidder will win the bid. If two or more bidders place identical bids, the first bid received will take precedence.

This sale is a silent auction. All bids submitted will remain confidential.

The successful buyer will be notified by email at the end of the auction and are required to pay the remaining balance within 24 hours.

Shipping fee will be charged separately. The successful buyer will be notified to settle the shipping fee before delivery.

Deposit will not be refunded to the successful bidder if he/she fails to settle the full invoice within 24 hours and without any valid reason. Purchase opportunity will be given to the next highest bidder.

Shipping of Wake Up Before It’s Too Late (Installation) will begin in September. DDT Store will only transfer the NFT to the successful buyer’s FWEN/Phantom/Sollet wallet after the full invoice has been settled.

The successful bidder agrees to provide us with all information and documentation DDT Store requests in order to verify your identity and to confirm that the cryptocurrency payment was made from a digital wallet registered in his/her name.

The successful buyer is responsible for securing storage of the NFT in the digital wallet or other storage mechanism he/she uses to receive and/or hold the NFT. DDT Store will not be liable for any loss/risk after transfer of ownership is made.

Pre-authorised payment will be fully refunded to all unsuccessful bidders. Exact time frame of refund depends on your authorised financial institution and card issuers’ policies.

All bids are non-retractable. Bids cannot be canceled once they have been submitted.

All bids and invoices are settled in either Hong Kong dollars (fiat currency) or SOL (cryptocurrency) only. No partial payment in two currencies is allowed. Outstanding balance should be settled in the selected currency paid for the pre-authorised payment.

Bidders will be responsible for any applicable network fee or gas fee required to conduct the transaction on the blockchain.

Once a cryptocurrency transaction is initiated, the transaction cannot be reversed; the successful buyer is responsible for verifying that the correct amount is sent to the correct digital wallet address.

There is no Buyer's Premium charged for the artwork purchased in this auction.

Customs duties and import taxes (if any) are not included in the hammer price. Successful buyer is responsible for these charges upon shipment delivery.

Bidders are advised to check relevant customs and import regulations prior to bidding, if they intend to import the artwork into another country. Should an import documentation is needed, bidders should be responsible for the permit application.

Closing time of the auction is at 12pm (HKT) on 16th August 2021.

DDT Store will only accept payment from the registered bidder. We reserve the right to decline payments received from anyone other than the buyer of record and that clearance of such payments will be required.

The successful buyer is bound by a 1-year lock-up period of no re-sale or transfer of ownership to a third party.

Any transfer of the ownership of the NFT is restricted to Solana wallets or FWEN wallet only.

For every resale that takes place after the 1-year lock-up period, 10% of proceeds from every secondary sale will go to DDT Store, which will be shared between the platform and the artist. This will be automatically executed by the smart contract.

DDT Store will not be responsible or liable for any loss and take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, any use of crypto assets, including but not limited to any losses, damages or claims arising from: (a) user error such as forgotten passwords, incorrectly constructed transactions, or mistyped addresses; (b) server failure or data loss; (c) corrupted wallet files; (d) unauthorized access to applications; (e) any unauthorized third party activities, including without limitation the use of viruses, phishing, bruteforcing or other means of attack against the service or crypto assets.

In case of any dispute, DDT Store reserves the right of final decision.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Draw registration begins from 11am, 22 April to 11am, 23 April 2024 (HKT)| from 11pm, 21 April to 11pm, 23 April 2024 (EDT). Registration to the draw outside this period is not accepted.
Registration must be made through DDT Store.
Registration is limited to 1 item per entry. Multiple entries for the same item under the same name, email address or shipping information will be deemed invalid, and result in entry disqualification.
Draw entrants must fill out all information correctly. Payment method and shipping address cannot be modified after submission. DDT Store will not be responsible for any loss or wrong delivery due to incorrect information provided by entrants.
Draw entrants will receive an EMAIL ACKNOWLEDGMENT once entering the draw. This email acknowledgment is only a confirmation of the draw entry and does not constitute an acceptance of your order.
No cancellations and modifications are accepted once the draw entry is confirmed.
Entries are not transferable.
A credit card pre-authorization is required to enter the draw. The credit card pre-authorization is to reserve the eligibility to purchase the product. The credit is held by the cardholder’s financial institution. No transaction will be made until the draw is successful.
With credit card pre-authorization, a deposit payment of HKD31,400 (USD4,000) is held in order to enter the draw. Please notify your financial institution in advance to ensure sufficient credit to enter the draw.
Credit card pre-authorization will expire in case of an unsuccessful draw, with the fund to be released back to the cardholder automatically. The exact time for refund varies with each financial institution’s policy.
Successful entrants will receive a notification email to confirm the order, with the held credit automatically charged.
If the payment cannot be completed due to any reasons, the right to purchase the item will be randomly given to a new entrant.
Upon successful draw, each entrant can only purchase one piece of the selected item.
Return of the item, cancellation of the order, and refund after the payment are not accepted. Please make sure that there are no errors in your order before entering the draw.
The price does not include taxes. International orders may be subject to additional local taxes, import duties or other local requirements. Unless exempted by law, the purchaser will be required to pay the necessary taxes for customs clearance, otherwise the shipment will be returned to the origin without any compensation.
DDT Store reserves the right to take any action against resale activities, including, but not limited to, restrict purchases, cancel orders, and/or suspend or close the entrant’s account.
The draw may be subject to changes without advance notice.
All products have been inspected and undergone quality control. Any minor variations or imperfections are up to our acceptable level of quality variance, and not qualified for exchange or refund.
Packaging is for protection only. Dents or scratches on the packaging box surface caused by delivery are not included in the Return & Refund policy.
In case of any dispute, DDT Store reserves the right of final decision.
